The county that my school resides in only has 3 snow plows to its name. So I thought I could help with the snow removal. I was able to clear away around 5 inches of snow from some of our empty parking lots. I’ll take a free reserved parking space now WVU.

WVU only has 3 plows? App State has about 15 university owned plow trucks, Town of Boone operates 5 or 6, Watauga county has 10, Watauga County schools has 5, NCDOT has 40 something for our region and the National guard will normally help somehow.

The county only has 3 but the school itself has plenty. However, the school plows only plow school property so there is a lot of road that doesn’t get touched.

My town has about 10 plows and then they use whatever else is in the toy box if we get a lot. I live in Massachusetts so it is kind of needed. Last year was great they used a giant grader as well as our towns deuce and a half. But with all that sometimes it is a total mess. My town is pretty small, but there are some pretty big routes that ho through it.
